Structured content is defined as content that is planned, developed
and connected outside an interface so that it can be ready for any
interface use.
Semantic HTML communicates the meaningful relationship
between document elements, as opposed to structured content describing
how they're supposed to look.
Structured content establishes information
into smaller chunks for the audience to understand, and semantic HTML
conveys this information in a machine-ready manner for algorithms and
smart agents. Balancing structured content as well as semantic HTML
on web page is integral to maintaining the integrity of a web page
through linking viable sources of information and communicating it
to the user in a digestible manner.

Eric Goldberg's Resume on Chuck Jones' WebsiteOut of all the methods that Jacobs described to combat your inner critic, I feel that the "If you're not part of the solution" method resonated with me the most. I say this because problem-solving is something that I've consistently had success with. I'd much rather figure out the solution to an issue whenever I'm in doubt instead of hopelessly beating myself up over not being good enough.
David McRaney describes hyperbolic discounting as a form of procrastination where you dismiss something important you have to do until later on under the belief that it's more rational to finish everything close to the last minute.
One of the methods that McRaney describes to combat hyperbolic discounting is the power of foresight. In other words, think ahead. Don't think about how your decisions will affect you in the immediate present, but instead think how the decisions that you make right now will affect you in the future. I personally resonate with this method the most because of how much it motivates me. The power of foresight is an incredibly valuable asset to have. The sooner that you can accomplish a goal, the less stress that you'll have to endure later on.
