The three domain names that I'm planning on registering for are "Benjaquinn", "Heartistry", and "Kiriko". My reasoning behind my first choice is that it's an amalgamation of my name, Benjamin, and the word, Quinn. The meaning of Quinn translates to "wisdom", "sense" or "reason". I chose this word in particular since one of the primary goals with my project is to share wisdom with my audience about what can de done with art. My reasoning for my second choice is that it's a combination of the words "heart" and "artistry". It's a play on the common consensus that artistic vision often comes from the heart. My choice behind my third choice is that it's simply my last name, Kiriko. I haven't come across many people with a last name like mine so I figured purchasing a domain with it wouldn't be too cumbersome.
When I discussed my domain names with a classmate, he told me that he liked the name "Benjaquinn" the most. He felt that it was the most unique of my domain names, though he felt that some might not immediately be able to understand the meaning of the pun. I did agree with his feedback and very much appreciated it. After some consideration, I think the domain name I like the most is "Heartistry". I say this because I feel that the name Heartistry really drives home the point of my project being highly centered on art. Not only that, but the name also emphasizes that the most compelling works of art come from within the heart.
