For the overall outlook of the Mushroom Kingdom, I wanted to design something that was appealing. I wanted to implement a typeface selection that would best represent the design philosophy of the Mushroom Kingdom as well as its overall atmosphere. The Mushroom Kingdom has a very strong mushroom theme (hence its name), and mushrooms generally have very round and soft textures. It was for this very reason that I decided to use the 'Bagel Fat One' font style as the main style for the headings. The font style is very round and squishy, so I figured that it would best match with the texture of a mushroom.
As for the other elements of the design interface, I decided to include several images of the Mushroom Kingdom in the backgrounds of each page. I wanted to give users the immersion of exploring the Mushroom Kingdom itself keeping with the overall theme. This presented me with the challenge of how to properly implement this alongside text boxes without creating distractions for the user's eye. To fix this issue, I aligned text boxes towards the center of the page since the user will primarily be focused on reading the text. For a few pages, I moved the text boxes slightly away from the center so that the point of interest in the background images would be more clear to the user.
